  • Offer support at some My Town Media events, such as concerts and festivals

About The Position: Learn about the business of radio from the ground up. You’ll be involved in the production of radio commercials; writing, recording, and producing them. You’ll probably voice (read) one during the interview. You’ll run a control board in a radio studio during the broadcast of a LIVE High School sporting event. You will monitor other game scores for our play-by-play announcer to share on air plus we may even have you update some scores on social media. Hours vary and are based on demand, however, during the football season, Fridays from 6p – 10p are required and during basketball season we may need you 2-3 nights a week. It’s a great opportunity for the right person. Most on-air radio DJs started this way – it’s like paying your dues. This position is part-time, up to 20 hours a week.

Our stations cover a variety of genres, including rock, top 40, sports, news, talk, and our signature My Country brand. Our digital services include Google and SEO marketing, social media strategy, videography, and website design.
