Radio AdvertisingMy Town Media operates 17 radio stations throughout the state of Kansas that reach into southwest Missouri and northeast Oklahoma. Our stations include many different formats including our My Country brand, which is a mix of older country, red dirt country, and a few of today’s hits; Top 40’s, Classic Rock, News/Talk, Sports Talk, and more! We are proud radio affiliates of the Kansas City Royals, the NFL, Kansas State Wildcats and many local high school sports programs.
When it comes to radio advertising, we know that the most important aspects that must be thoughtfully considered are the message in a commercial and the frequency it is played. We work with each of our customers to create customized, engaging commercials and plan a strategy for frequency that will be the most effective in helping you achieve your goals.
Our “Dominate the Day” strategy is a tried and true model for frequency: “8 is good, 10 is better, 12 is best, 15 if you can afford it!” This means we would run your commercials 8, 10, 12 or 15 times per day on certain days of the week, depending what your overall goal is. This is called a vertical advertising schedule and you will see many national companies follow this strategy, like Geico, McDonald’s, Sonic, Budweiser, Menard’s, and many more.
We also have many different schedules available to advertise during MLB, NFL, Kansas State Sports, high school sports, agricultural reports, state and local news, weather, and during our live shows!
